Read Psalm 51
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and restores the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18
Grace: God’s riches at Christ’s expense. All we need now, to live the abundant life.
Brokenness: The condition of being crushed by inward or outward circumstances and having nowhere to turn but to God.
When grace hits our brokenness there is restoration! But we have to…
1. Go to the Restorer. vv. 1, 2
He is loving and compassionate.
He is the only one who is able.
2. Be honest with the Restorer. vv. 3-6
About yourself.
About Him.
3. Receive from the Restorer. vv. 7-12
Cleansing, joy, gladness, forgiveness, a right heart, fellowship, assurance, and confidence.
4. Live for the Restorer. vv. 13-17
Modeling His ways.
Sacrificing for Him.
