Doing What is Good

Titus 3:1-8

Good

• Agathos - What is in accord with and promotes godly character.

• Kalos - Moral beauty. The outward appearance of the goodness God does inside of us that works its way out and inspires others.

To do what is good we must remember…

1. Our responsibility to our culture. (vv.1,2)

2. Our hopeless former condition. (v.3)

3. Our merciful and gracious conversion. (vv.4-7)

4. Our confident and impactful commission. (v.8)

   A. Friends bring healing.

   B. Friends encourage faith.

3. The purpose of friendship.

   A. Friends reflect Christ’s love.

   B. Friends foster koinonia.
