Sermon Notes

Joshua 2:1-14

“God does not consult your past to determine your future” ~Asil Treblig

We can step out in obedience and faith when we realize…

  1. God desires to use us and grow us up in our faith.

· On His terms, in His plan, for His glory.

  1. Obedience is born from faith, then shown in our circumstances.

· We step out into who God is, what He has done and His certain promises of the future.

  1. There are no walls too high for God’s grace.

· God does not consult your past to determine your future.

  1. Saving faith means obedience, and that means choosing sides.

· There is no neutral ground in the Kingdom of God.

Joshua 1:1-11

“If God is in us, around us, and goes before us….what is stopping us?” ~Asil Treblig

We can step out in strength and courage because of …

  1. God’s Promises.

  2. God’s Protection.

  3. God’s Presence.

  4. God’s Purpose.
