Walking in the Way, Part 2

Colossians 3:12-17

Connecting with people along the way involves...

1. Putting on the proper uniform. (v.12)

Clothed with…

· Compassion

· Kindness

· Humility

· Gentleness

· Patience

2. Putting up with people… period. (vv.13,14)

· In forgiveness, as Christ forgave you.

· In love, as Christ loves you.

3. Putting peace and thankfulness as a priority. (v.15)

4. Putting the word deeply in our hearts. (v.16)

Then… whatever we do, we will do it as a representative of God!​​

1. Participating in the presence of God. (Galatians 5:16-25)

· Acknowledging God is not just near He is here

· Walking in the Spirit

2. Participating in praying with God. (1 Samuel 1:9-17)

· Direct, unfiltered communication with God

· Anytime, anyplace, for any reason

3. Participating in the precepts of God. (Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12,13)

· Because they reveal God’s will and his ways

· Because they are active and transformative
