Why mobilize?

1. That's what we were created to do. (Genesis 1:27-28; Romans 1:25)

2. Jesus served us. (Philippians 2:6-8; John 13:12-17)

3. To become like Christ. (John 3:16; Matthew 22:37-40; John 5:19;12:26)

The Plan: Why Equip? To Fulfill the Mission Christ Gave Us

Why equip? 1. God is on a mission. (Romans 10:9; 2 Peter 3:9) 2. God has chosen us to join Him on mission. (John 15:16; Ephesians 1:4) · Every person has a specific role. · Every person has specific gifts. 3. God equips us for the mission. (Ephesians 4:7-12) · Through the Holy Spirit · Through other people 4. God equips us for a purpose. (Ephesians 4:12-16) · So the Body of Christ may be built up. · So we can become like Christ. -So we will not be fooled. -So we are able to speak the truth in love.
