Why connect? Connecting with each other allows us to…..

1. Provoke one another

· Towards love.

· Towards good works.

2. Promote one another

· Be an advocate.

· Be an advisor.

3. Provide for one another

· Teaching.

· Fellowship.

· Prayer.

· Material needs.

Going Deeper

1. Remember a time when you were involved in close Christian community. What was it like?

2. Can you think of other ways we can practice loving, caring, and encouraging one another other than being in community?

3. Read Acts 2:42-47. Write down all the things the early believers did. Now write down what God did.

4. What is stopping you from being involved in Christian community with other believers. Do you think community is worth overcoming those obstacles.

5. Make a plan today to reach out to three people and bring them encouragement, prayer, and love!

1. There are many religions.

• They all can’t be right.

• Christ declared to be the only way.

• Believing Jesus is the only way is foundational.

2. The Trinity testified to Christ’s exclusivity.

• The Father testifies.

• Jesus testifies.

• The Holy Spirit testifies.

3. The apostles testified to Christ’s exclusivity.

4. Believe it and live it out.

• Jesus is the only way, or He’s no way.

• Jesus understood that outside of Him, people are doomed.

• It creates in us a passion to live for Him.

• It gives us perseverance to stand for Him.
