Read John 11:1-44

1. Death is a reality to us all. (vs.12-14)

To conquer death, we must believe in…

2. The One who is the resurrection. (v.25)

3. The One who is the life. (v.25)

4. The One who gives assurance in life and death. (v.25,26)

5. The One who frees us to really live. (v.44)


GOING DEEPER
  1. Ponder death for a moment. What emotions come to mind and why do you feel that way?

  2. Read 2Co. 5:1-9. What insight can we gain about life and death from these passages?

  3. Read 1Co.15:1-28. What do these passages say about Jesus’ resurrection and ours.

  4. Read 1 Co.15:35-58. What further insight do these passages add to the subject of our resurrection?

  5. Do these passages bring you hope in death? Where does this hope come from? Who can you share this hope with today?
