Titus 1:5-9
“Failure doesn’t come by not reaching your goals but from not having them in the first place.” ~Asil Treblig
Good:
Agathos – What is in accord with and promotes godly character.
Kalos – Moral beauty. The outward appearance of the goodness God does inside of us that works its way out and inspires others.
Christlike character should be the goal of us all, especially:
Character in public.
•Above reproach
Character in relationships.
•In your marriage
•In your parenting
Character in conduct.
•Should not be overbearing, quick tempered, given to drunkenness, violent, or pursuing dishonest gain
•Should be hospitable, love what is good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined
Character in teaching.
•Encouraging yourself and others
•Refuting those in opposition
