“We don’t question God’s sovereignty when we understand and agree with it... But where does faith fit into that equation? ~Asil Treblig

God is…gracious, peaceful, full of goodness, generous, and...

1. Sovereign in all things.

So, we are… saints, full of faith, immeasurably blessed, and…

2. Sovereignly chosen by God.

3. In Christ.

4. Given Christ’s holiness and perfection.

“Dads are ordinary men turned by love into heroes, adventurers, story-tellers and singers of silly songs.” ~Pam Brown

Abba: An Aramaic term which expresses deep affection, confidence, and trust. It signifies the close, intimate relationship of a father and his child, as well as the childlike trust that a young child puts in his “daddy.”

Our Abba Father is the best father because….

1. He is always there. (Mark14:36)

  • And is there for all things.

  • And can do all things.

  • And knows all things.

2. He is always showing it. (Romans 8:12-15)

  • By His leading.

  • By His grace.

  • By His assurance.

3. He is always faithful. (Galatians 4:4-7)

  • A Father of his word.

  • A Father of hope.
