Read Ephesians 1:18-23

God is gracious, peaceful, full of goodness, generous, sovereign, loving, inclusive, relational, forgiving, all-knowing, and…


1. Incomparably powerful.


So, we are saints, full of faith, immeasurably blessed, chosen, adopted, redeemed, wise, understanding, and…


2. Hopeful of our calling.


3. Hopeful of our power.


4. Hopeful of our resurrection.




GOING DEEPER
  1. Remember a time when you didn’t have the power or strength to do something. What happened?

  2. Read 1 Chronicles 29:11-13. What do these verses say about God’s power?

  3. Read 2 Co.12:1-10. What do these verses say about using God’s power?

  4. Read Hebrews 6:13-20. What hopeful comfort do you get from these verses?

  5. List a few things you are hopeful in God for. Thank him for them and live as if you have them now!

2. Full of wisdom.

3. Full of understanding.

4. Enlightened to God’s plan.

5. And should be completely at peace.


GOING DEEPER
  1. Remember a time when you needed to know how to do something or needed more information on a certain subject. What did you do?

  2. Read Psalm 111:10. What does it mean to fear God and what will it bring?

  3. Read Psalm 119:130 and Pr.2:6. What does God’s word bring?

  4. Read Colossians 1:9-14. What further insights do these verses bring us on the subject?

  5. How does knowing God’s plan from the beginning to end give you peace?
