Freely in Christ. vv.9-16

Expectantly in Christ. vs. 24

Impartially in Christ. vv. 34,35

Obediently in Christ. Acts 10

Fruitfully in Christ. vv.44-48


GOING DEEPER
  1. Remember a time when you had to change your mind or opinion about something. Explain.

  2. Read Galatians 5:1. What are we set free from? How can we be burdened again by a yoke of slavery?

  3. Read James 2:1-13. What do these verses tell us about favoritism?

  4. Read John 14:15-31. What do these verses say about obeying Christ, and how do we have the ability to do it?

  5. What area/s of your life do you need to surrender to God in order to really live for Christ?

Read Acts 4:1-30

We ENDURE in Jesus’ Name!


Endure: remain firm under suffering, trials, or misfortune without yielding.


We endure by…

  1. Submitting to authorities. (vs. 1-3)

  2. Submitting to the Holy Spirit. (v.10)

  3. Submitting to opportunities. (vs. 9-13)

  4. Submitting to obedience. (vs.19,20)

  5. Submitting to boldness. (vs. 29-31)


GOING DEEPER
  1. Remember a time when you had to endure a hardship or trial. What happened?

  2. Why do you think there are hardships and trials in the Christian life?

  3. Read James 1:2-4. What do these verses say amount trials, how we should go through them and what they produce?

  4. Read 1 Peter 1:3-9. What knowledge can you gain from these verses regarding trials and why they come upon us?

  5. What trial are you going through now? What can you learn from it? Have you gained wisdom from a recent trial that you can share with someone else?
