“What God definitively knows about you is more important than what people think they know about you” -Unknown
As people of God we are:
A chosen people.
A royal priesthood.
A holy nation.
A redeemed people
In order that, we may visibly and extravagantly live lives of praise to God!
How would you describe yourself to people? To what group or “tribe” do you relate to the most? Why?
Read 1 Peter 2:4-12. In verse 11 why does Peter call us foreigner and aliens? Do you consider yourself in that group?
Foreigners and aliens usually stand out. What are some ways you can practically stand out?
Read Exodus 19:1-6, Dt.26:16-19. What does God promise to His people and what does He expect from them? What is it that will make them stand out among the nations?
When people look at your life is it obvious that you belong to God? What are some things you can do this week to show that?
